Overview
Since 2018, I’ve helped shape the editorial direction of Neo News Today (NNT), an independent publication covering the Neo blockchain ecosystem.
As editor, my responsibilities extend beyond reporting. I help determine which stories deserve coverage, coordinate contributors, review and approve articles, and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
My objective has remained the same throughout: deliver accurate, fact-based reporting that makes complex blockchain developments accessible without sensationalism.
The Challenge
Blockchain ecosystems move quickly. Protocol upgrades, governance decisions, security incidents, and new projects create a constant stream of information.
The challenge isn’t simply publishing more articles. It’s determining what’s genuinely newsworthy, understanding the technical details, and providing readers with reliable context.
NNT also needed a repeatable editorial operation capable of delivering consistent coverage year after year.
My Approach
Editorial strategy: I evaluate developments across the ecosystem, identify stories worth pursuing, and coordinate coverage to avoid duplication while ensuring important developments aren’t overlooked.
Contributor oversight: I edit and approve reporting from contributors, particularly later writers, while coordinating story selection and assignments with fellow writers early on.
Consistent publishing: I developed and maintained recurring content formats, including NNT’s weekly Week in Review, to give readers a dependable source of ecosystem news.
Throughout this process, I’ve prioritized editorial independence, accuracy, and clear explanations over hype.
Output & Impact
- Approximately 2,000 articles written as personal bylines since joining NNT in 2018.
- 520+ Week in Review editions produced through a recurring weekly publishing format.
- 155+ Week in Review videos extending the publication’s reporting into video.
- 54 podcast episodes produced for the Neo News Today Podcast.
NNT’s reporting has also been referenced in independent academic research, including publications from the Technical University of Vienna and the Journal of Medical Internet Research.
Neo’s official developer documentation recognizes NNT as an ecosystem contributor, while Neo Global Development has referenced its ongoing editorial coverage.
What This Experience Demonstrates
My work at NNT has taught me that effective content leadership requires more than strong writing.
It requires editorial judgment, consistent execution, collaboration, and the willingness to maintain high standards over time.
Nearly nine years later, those principles continue to guide how I approach content strategy and communications.
